Bottom line is that this piece isn't just adorable, it's relatable and really humanizes Miss Kally here. I think it's safe to say that quite a few of us have done this, singing alone in some way shape or form, and this image brings to life a more deeply personal facet of life that regardless of species, we sentient types both real and fictional share. Bridging that gap between make believe and reality isn't always so easy in visual art, especially with a non-human character, yet this picture does exactly that!

As a writer and not a visual artist, I'm loathe to delve deeply into the aspects of art critique, but I will say that what you've done here, mixing two mediums to create a complete image, it actually took me a minute too see what you did with the background. Honestly, I think it was a nice touch, the effect really makes her figure pop to the front. Overall this piece is really great, and I happen to enjoy all of your artwork, but this one just "sang" to me. Thank you for sharing this with all of us.
