PROFILE: “ Proud warrior maiden” is how some describe Aiva. That’s a title she’s OK with. Like any draconian she loves a good fight. She’ll happily leap into battle swinging her mace with a grin on her lips. And with this she has gained a reputation among both her fellow draconians as well humans she’s fought with(and against). Although all too often she finds herself the object of desire for some of those humans. (many have made the mistake of getting frisky with her) It annoys Aiva to no end how often they stare stupidly at her chest and she’s never fully understood the human males obsession with a woman’s bosom. (it’s something draconian men don’t care about what so ever!) Nor has she figured out why her cousin seems so sensitive about hers.
She is more tolerant of the many young draconian men who come seeking her hand in marriage. However, she refuses to marry any man unless he can defeat her in combat. (twenty seven suitors have so far been sent packing) This insistence of acting on her own behalf instead of letting her father take care of it as draconian tradition dictates is a source of both pride and frustration for her parents. (pride in her skills as a warrior and frustration in that they so want grandchildren!)
Aiva is very close to her family. Especially with her cousin Kally. With both an only child the two have grown up with a relationship more like sisters than cousins and she has always watched out for her. (Kally’s such a puny little thing). Aiva misses her a lot and longs to see her come home. (riding wild boylehogs just isn’t the same without her.)
